Amanda has 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with 8+ years of those in research budgets and negotiations. She has received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Scranton and traveled abroad to St. Elizabeth University in Slovakia where she presented on global health research topics.
Amanda’s current role as Director, Research Finances and Billing at Bon Secours Mercy Health oversees approximately 400 clinical trials with more than 50% of those trials being industry funded. They provide research opportunities to patients in 10 different markets across Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and South Carolina. Amanda has been with BSMH for 3 years and is responsible for coverage analysis creation, budget negotiations, accounts payable and receivable for all study related activities, compliant billing, and financial reports. She has been instrumental in growing the research programs in each market to be fully financially sustainable through industry funded trials. Research revenue has more than doubled since Amanda joined BSMH and 99.1% of all studies negotiated since 2022 have been initiated.
